The moon's silver light with the cold hazy winds entered through the half opened windows, caressing her soft skin while her lips murmured the words written on the book.
Aadya did not want to come out from the warmth of her soft blanket and close the windows.
So she snuggled more to the baby pink blanket not waving her eyes from the feelings written on the crisp pages.
Sometimes her brows knitted together other times a grimace came to her face reading the story of a woman.
The story was about a woman from pre independent India. Most precisely a woman seeing her young days in 1936.
The heroine of the story was a quiet girl who was newly married. And now was the duchess of the royal town in West India.
On her first night her husband told her the truth. He can love her but he can never satisfy her on the bed.
He was not interested in any physical contact. It does not make him feel good.
She got all the love and care from her husband. He used to treat her like a raw diamond but every night she would find herself getting hot, drenched with sweat and rubbing her legs together under the blanket, alone yearning for a touch of man or woman but at least a touch.
Her husband never spent a night with her because he knew the night was never for them.
She waited, controlled and tried to tame her desires but one day she crossed the line and had sex with one of the maid employed to work for her.
One day her husband saw her engaging with a woman in a bed and everything fell on him..
With a broken heart he asked,"Why did you do this? "
His wife only looked at him blankly, "Isn't it obvious? Love can never satisfy the hunger of the body."
Aadya closed the book with a shut.
With the back of her hand she wiped the sweat off her forehead," Darling," she heard Vikram.
Aadya hid the book under her blanket and looked at Vikram who was entering the small library.
He was smiling to her but when he saw his darling sweating in the cold winter his got concerned and asked her worriedly, "What happened Aadya? Why are you sweating so much?"
Aadya blinked as he wiped the sweat beads from her face and looked at her worriedly.
She held his hand and made him sit near her on the sofa,"Vikram," she said.
"Yes darling, say," he asked, wrapping his hand around her shoulder. He caressed her shoulder when he felt her muscles getting rigid.
Aadya smiled a little when she saw how worried he was for her and asked about Aditya and her papa first," where are they ? They are stopping for dinner right?"
Vikram sighed and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears,"No they are not."
"But why?" she asked. "Darling, dad has dinner plans with mum and Aditya...he is a young and bachelor man. He does dinner with different girls on different nights,"he chuckled at his little brother. He knows how to live a colorful life.
Few months back he was also like that.Whom he was kidding was worse than him.
"Oh.." said Aadya, nodding her head.
Vikram looked at his wife when she suddenly turned quiet. By the look on her face he knew something was going in her mind.
He was about to ask what she was thinking about so deeply.
However before that they heard footsteps approaching them. They both turned their gaze towards the library's door.
Digvijay and Rudra came inside the library with a plate of food in their hands.
Rudra sat down on the other side of her while Digvijay sat in front of her on the coffee table.
Tearing the first piece of roti (bread) Digvijay brings it close to her mouth. Aadya opened her mouth and took the first bite.
She tore a bite for them and one by one fed them back.
It was the first time they were eating from the same plate.
It was special for all four of them as at the silence of the small library they fed Aadya with their hand and Aadya fed them back.
"Darling," said Vikram while feeding her from his hand.
"Hmm"
"You were saying something," he said and she looked at him as that thought again returned to her mind.
"Yes I was," she said just in a whisper, contemplating whether to ask them or not.
But at the end she asked what she was thinking about because if she did not ask she would not be able to sleep tonight.
What she read a few minutes ago does happen in real life. Physical needs make you break your closest relations.
She tore a big piece of the roti (bread) and put it in their mouth before dropping her question one by one.
"Do you miss sex? "
"Do you think dirty things about me? "
"How long can you survive without sex?"
She fired her questions one after another looking at Vikram , Rudra and Digvijay respectively.
All three of them coughed, choking on the food in their mouth when Aadya dropped her questions.
Digvijay swallowed the food in his mouth without chewing it and gulping down a full glass of water he asked," what the hell are you saying?"
"From where did you get these thoughts, Princess,"Rudra was as bewildered as the other two.
Aadya rubbed her palms under the blanket. They were turning sweaty, she should not have given in to her curiosity and asked them her stupid questions.
"Umm.. You three were sexually active for so long. You are older than me of course you will be.." she chuckled slightly, taking out her sweaty palms from the blanket and looking at the lines of her hands.
"I believe.. No I know you did not had sex after coming into relationship with me. Umm.. Do you miss having sex. How do you manage without sex? Because I know you use to have sex with different women in different days," Vikram sighed, knowing well that the last line suits for him the most.
She did not dare to look at them, however she could feel their eyes on her.
Digvijay placed the plate of food on the coffee table. Wiping his hands with the tissue he asked," Any more questions?"
Aadya looked up at him and nodded," If I don't allow you to have sex with me will you cheat on me. Because I know people do that when their spouse can not satisfy them on the bed."
A silence followed after her words which were not pleasing to her.
Digvijay's stony face studied the expression of her face as the fire flicking in the fire pit reflected in her blue-green eyes.
Vikram took a hold of her slightly shivering hands, they were cold he rubbed them between his hands giving them warmth.
Rudra titled her gaze away from the flicking fire and made her look at him.
He pressed his lips firmly to her and she sighed in his mouth feeling the nervousness leaving her shoulder.
"The truth that I am going to tell you might upset you. But it is the truth you should be aware of," his eyes locked with hers while his fingers traced her chin.
"You were right. I have been with tens of women," Aadya took a deep breath and looked away from him.
Rudra again turned her gaze turn to him,"It is hard for men like us to live without sex. It's been more than two months since I had sex and believe me it's hard."
Aadya's heart soured.
She is ready to accept them before the world.
She is ready to spend her whole life with them because she likes the change they bring in her life but sex with three men!
It was a complicated situation for her.
And it becomes more complicated with their desires and her lack of awareness.
Falling for them was so easy but make herself ready for sex with three different men was so difficult.
She loves to cuddle with them, kiss them, a small naughty touched here and there but a hard core real sex.
The thought of it alone makes her heart race and her mind numb.
Was she ever able to satisfy her husbands and make them happy?
The question arose in her mind while reading that book. If she takes long time to be comfortable enough to have sex with them.
Can they wait for that long?
"It is hard for any man to live without sex. Well why only men? It is a basic need of any person," Aadya looked up at Digvijay as he spoke with a bluntness.
"And you have already seen that on our first night," Vikram said, making her tension rise more.
Was she wrong to put those rules and conditions? What if they all cheat her like the protagonist of the book ? After all, not every time love is everything.
Should I surrender before their desires and accept them in every way?
"What if I never let you have sex with me or your patience breaks after waiting for so long ? Will you find some other woman to satisfy you in bed?" Aadya tilted her head like an innocent kid and asked, confused.
The trio's heart broke seeing the look in her eyes.
For the first time their wife was afraid of the future.
"Don't you trust us, Princess," Rudra asked in a low voice. He was heart broken by her words.
No, believe me it's nothing like that. But I am thinking about it practically," she rambled with her words, her intention was never to hurt them. It was only a question which arose a few minutes ago and left her frightened.
"You three had an active sexlife I believe from what I have heard from news articles and people. You promised me that you will wait for me till I am ready for any kind of physical relationship. But what if I am never ready for it then will you keep the promise?"
"It's just... I don't know. Maybe I'm a little scared of losing you," she whispered, looking down.
"We will wait for you," said Vikram, grasping her hand tight.
"You take as much time as you want. Weeks, months, years. We will wait," he continued looking at his darling.
"But the only condition is our day should start with your kiss and end with us snuggling to your warm body," Rudra pressed another kiss on her rosy lips earning a smile from her.
"No desire or fantasy of ours is strong enough to break the promise we have to you. I have done it once but not again. Unless you are not ready and want to know by yourself we will wait for you," Digvijay held her gaze strongly.
"Why? Why do you three treat me like your world? What is so special in me?"
"Everything."
*******************************
Aadya snuggled more to Rudra's chest and in reflex Rudra wrapped his arms around her petite figure.
She was mingled by Vikram and Digvijay from both sides and was watching the light rain pouring on the earth through the arched windows of her room.
She could feel the warmth of their naked body melting on her own as they clasped her to them like they never intended to leave her.
She was feeling drowsy. It was a night at its prime and the soft caress on her open hair was summoning sleep to her eyes.
She was not expecting that suddenly the black clouds would cover the night sky. But nature has its own mood.
The trio were looking at their wife who was busy looking at the raindrops.
They were confused and hurt when she asked them those questions.
They would never break her heart, they could never even think about that.
"What made you think all this?" they had asked when Rudra picked her in his arms ready to go out of the small library as the light rain started.
She hugged the blanket tight to her body making her look like a bundle of pink bubbles in Rudra's arms.
She did not say anything but when Vikram caught the sight of the book in her hands he knew what caused her mind to run that way.
After reading only two lines from that book Vikram threw the book in the fire and the old classical novel turned into ashes.
They decided they will burn out all the infidelity books from the library.
"Vikram.." Aadya called while looking at the night rain.
"Yes darling," he whispered near her ears, making her squirm when his breath tickled her.
"What did papa say? " she asked, she did not know the reason behind her papa's sudden visit.
He was not in his usual mood today. He is looking dark and all serious. He did not even hug her.
The three men looked at each other and it was not unnoticed by Aadya,"It was about business," he lied and Aadya hummed in reply.
"You know I like this," she said after a few seconds, closing her eyes and then opening them again.
"Believe us we too," a smile graced her lips hearing Digvijay's rough voice.
The three men were naked except their boxers they were not wearing anything. They were trapping her petite figure with all the sides under the warm duvet providing her more warmth.
When she told them to join her on the bed with only their boxers on they were shocked for a moment. Was she the same girl who was saying she could not make herself have sex with them?
And now she was demanding to share a bed of with them half naked!
But they only sighed and dropped their clothes on the floor and joined her on the bed.
"Are you feeling alright, Princess?"
"Yes I am," she smiled, snuggling more to Rudra's naked chest as the three men tighten their hold on her.
"Rudra," Aadya looked up at him and asked in a low voice. "Yes my princess," said Rudra.
"How are your parents? What they like and dislike. What should I keep in mind before meeting them?" she asked, a little nervous and very excited for meeting his parents tomorrow.
Rudra shared a look with the other two men only they knew what family problems he had and how conservative and chauvinist his father was.
He looked at his wife and rubbed his nose to hers giving her an Eskimo kiss.
That made her giggle.
"Don't be nervous about it much. Just be yourself."
Aadya pouted at his dull response. He was not helping at all.
"At least tell me should I wear something traditional or a black dress will do? "
"Darling, as he said don't stress yourself about it much. And dress however you want," Vikram tried to cheer her but it was not helping her at all.
Her lips flattened in a line and she was ready to detach herself from the three giants. But they did not let her go.
One mean look from her and they did not try to hold her again.
"Useless husbands," she muttered underneath her breath and came out of the duvet.
Making a bun out of her open hair she was about to enter the washroom when the clouds thundered loudly and she shrieked like a little mouse and scrambled to them again, hugging them like her life depended on them.
"Useless husbands hn?"
She ignored the jab coming from Vikram and completely hid herself under the duvet above them.
She was scared of thunder.
********************************
After a lot of thinking Aadya finally settled with a heavy Banarasi silk saree which suited her tall figure perfectly showing her perfect curves as the dark color complimented her whiter skin.

She was putting Jasmine flowers on her bun when Rudra entered the room
She was putting Jasmine flowers on her bun when Rudra entered the room.
"Aadya..." he was saying but stopped when he looked at his beautiful wife.
She was looking breathtaking.
Ethereal.
Aadya smiled at her husband through the mirror and again started fumbling with the flowers in her hands, "Sugar help me naa. I am trying for the last fifteen minutes but it's not happening," she pouted, asking him to help her to put the jasmine flower on her hair.
However he was unfazed at his spot. Gawking how pleasant she was looking wearing an Indian Saree, all decked up from head to toe.
She was wearing a vermilion on her head parting which was actually increasing her beauty more,"Come on we don't have all day!"
Rudra came out of his thoughts hearing her groaning and walking to her he took the jasmine flowers from her hand.
Aadya's red bangles made a tingling sound as she clasped her hands together and looked at their reflection as Rudra put the flowers on her hair.
Rudra's hands trembled a bit when he stood closer to her.
She was smelling different today.
She was smelling extremely exotic yet soothing and the jasmine's scent was increasing the intoxication.
"I am nervous," Aadya said, looking at him through the mirror.
"Why? You were not nervous when you demanded to meet my parents that too keeping me under gun point," Aadya chuckled recalling that moment.
He was shit scared.
"You were scared," she smiled, cheekily and Rudra snapped his gaze to her,"No I was not."
"Yes you are. You even raised your hands in surrender. You were scared of me," Aadya reminded him but Rudra was hell bound to not accept the truth.
"I wasn't. You have mistaken," he said, tucking the last jasmine in her hair and pressed his lips to the exposed skin of her shoulder.
Turning around she looked at him.
"Liar," she whispered, seductively near his lips but Rudra was suddenly not in the mood.
"I am not lying. I was not scared. You are my wife. It is my duty to keep you happy. You were sad at that time so I acted scared to make you happy," his soft brown turned cold and serious.
Aadya noticed the sudden change in his eyes.
She lightly pressed her lips on his," Alright. You were not scared. You are doing your husband's duty," she smiled.
"Thank you for adding flowers to my hair, dear husband. But now I have to do my wife duties," she smiled and started to walk out of her room.
"Where are you going? " he called after her.
Aadya turned to him," I can not let you wear that office outfit and go to your parent's home for lunch," she winked, leaving the room.
After some minutes she came back with a black bandhgala suit in her hand.
"What are you doing?" Rudra asked, bewildered when Aadya started opening his shirt.
Aadya only smiled, throwing his plain white shirt on the bed,"Doing my wife duty," she said, making him put his arms inside the sleeves of the bandhgala.

"I have never worn a bandhgala even when I met the president of India," Rudra rolled his eyes when Aadya dusted off the invisible dust from his shoulders.
Not a big problem. Wear it next time when you meet him as a chief minister of our state," she grinned while closing his suit's button.
Rudra blinked hearing what she said. She was being ambitious for him.
" That's not going to happen. My father will never let that happen. He will leave politics but never announce me as the contender for Chief Minister. He has no trust left in me," he said as Aadya closed the top button of his suit.
"But I have trust in you. You will earn something big in the near future. I have that feeling, " she said, looking him in the eyes.
**************************
The tingling sound of her anklets greeted Vikram's and Digvijay's ears when she walked down the stairs with Rudra by her side.
They turned their heads towards her and only a breathless,"exquisite," left their mouth.
She was looking so beautiful in the silk saree that it looked like the stars had come down to earth and embellished themselves in each part of her skin.
Digvijay placed a long kiss on her forehead making her smile at his display of affection,"My wife," he breathed, wrapping her in his arms.
"Don't go Aadya. Be with us," Vikram requested near her ears.
Turning her head she looked at him,"I really want to meet them," she broke the hope in his eyes.
Vikram sighed, he did not wish to let go of his beautiful wife out of his sight.
"I will miss you," he almost groaned like a five year old baby, placing his head on her dainty shoulder and wrapping his hands on her waist from behind.
Like some melody Aadya's giggles played in their ears,"I will miss you too. But do not worry, I will be back in an hour or two. Right Sugar?" she looked at Rudra who nodded in return.
Vikram and Digvijay noted the tension on Rudra's shoulders, "Try to come back in half an hour or better in twenty minutes please," Vikram said to Rudra which made Aadya facepalm.
"It's a half an hour drive to my parent's home, Vikram," Rudra sighed.
****************************
Aadya looked out of the window. The rain last night has made the weather pleasant.
As the cool easterly winds were kissing her skin making the tendrils of hair fly she was lost in her own thoughts.
She was nervous to meet his parents. Especially his father.
From what she has heard about him till now makes her believe that he sees women with fifteenth century glasses.
She knows he dislikes her and most probably hates her. She was nervous but more than that she was excited to meet him.
She turned her gaze away from the window and glanced at her sugar. He was in deep thought. Most probably thinking about how today will go.
Clasping her hand with his, she put her head on his shoulder,"I am with you," she whispered.
After a few minutes Aadya found herself looking at the exquisite white marble building which had taken her breath away only at first glance. "Let's go,"Aadya smiled, placing her hand in Rudra's.
Aadya could feel Rudra's hands getting sweaty. He was nervous, maybe more nervous than her. She understands he does not share a good relationship with his father. She hopes that she could erase the difference between the father and son.
On the other hand, Rudra remembered the day when his father had told him to never come back to his home again. For him his only son was dead. He clearly remembered those words.
"Till now I was proud to call you my son but from now I would be ashamed to say that you are my son."
"Rudra," Aadya tucked his hand.
Rudra looked at his wife,"Why did you stop?" she asked.
He only shook his head saying,"nothing."
Priya was groaning as her mother was oiling her hair, emptying almost one bottle of coconut oil on her head,"Maa, now that's too much. I have literally bathed in coconut oil. Please stop now."
"Look at your hair, Priya, all dry and rough. If I don't take care of your hair for two days, it turns into a bird's nest," Rukmani, Priya and Rudra's mother scolded, giving a lesson to her daughter.
"But," Priya was groaning again but when she caught the sight of her brother and Babez standing on the doorway she jumped in delight making her mother flinch.
"Oh my god," she shouted, excited and ran to both of them.
She first hugged her brother and kissed him on the cheek then she turned her gaze to her babez.
"Hayee," she sighed dreamily, "YOU ARE LOOKING BREATHTAKING BABEZ," she exclaimed, hugging her tightly.
Aadya chuckled at her excitement and hugged her back.
Rudra smiled at his sister and wife but when he felt a pair of eyes on him he looked that way.
Rudra's mother Rukmani was numb in her place.
Her eyes brimmed with tears when she looked at her son after so many days.
She did not blinked and kept looking at him until her heart filled with satisfaction. However it was impossible she knew even after hours she would not be satisfied by looking at his face.
His own eyes were screaming longing for his mother.
Just like her eyes his eyes also brimmed with tears but he controlled himself not letting them come out.
A chuckle left her mouth seeing that nothing had changed. Before he would not cry and control his tears and now also he was doing the same.
She wanted to run to him and embrace him in her arms just like she used to do when he would come home from the hostel. He used to hide himself in the edge of her saree and not come out all day long. He used to say he likes being close to her. He misses her most and only wants to run away from the hostel and come to her.
Rudra's hand tightened in a hard fist he was trying to control himself, his tears, his emotions.
However no son can hide his emotions from his mother. Can he?
Rukmani wanted to run to him and hug him tightly but she took slow steps toward him.
Standing in front of him she raised her oily hands to touch him and make sure that he was real.
Rudra melted when his mother caressed his cheeks. The oil from her hand smeared on his face and he whispered,"Maa.."
And with that her mother broke down in tears and hugged her son like old times.
Rudra hugged his mother back and kissed her head again and again,"I missed you so much," he murmured against her hair.
"I miss you every second of the day, Rudra. Are you okay? Are you happy?"she wiped her tears and asked her question one after another.
Rudra smiled at his mother and kissed her forehead,"I am good maa. Everything is good. I am happy"
"Does your wife cook well? Look at you, you are looking so thin and weak. Doesn't she take care of you?" she demanded answers.
That earned her a giggle from Aadya and she looked at her. Her mouth parted when she saw how beautiful Aadya was.
She looked at her from head to toe. She was looking so delicate and fragile yet her aura was of elegance and charm.
"You are my son's wife?" she asked in a small voice.
Aadya smiled, "Yes I am," she nodded and bent to touch her feet in greeting.
Rudra's mother shared a look with him seeing Aadya's mannerism and cupping Aadya's cheeks she said, "Bhagwan tumhe dher saara pyaar aur khushiyaan de."
(may god bless you with lots of love and happiness)
"Priya showed me your wedding pictures. I must say you are more beautiful in real life," she told Aadya, warmly.
"Thank you ma'am," Aadya's cheeks turned red at the warm compliment.
Rudra's mother frowned and said,"Don't call me ma'am. Call me maa like my other kids," she scolded her, softly.
Aadya took a gentle breath. She called Vikram's father papa because she saw her papa in him but it was harder for her to call another woman maa, "I will try," she only said that.
Rukmani understood what Aadya was going through and only nodded in understanding.
"Now don't be standing here on the doorstep and come in."
Aadya admired the interior of the house. It has warmth and love flowing around the walls of the house.
Her eyes wandered to one concern of the house from another when she saw him.
Aadya visibly turned pale looking at the scary man.
Rudra felt his wife getting stiff beside him.
He followed her line of sight and met with the angry eyes of his father.
