The Award function was lavish and extravagant. There was a band playing , people drinking and laughing with a glass of expensive liquor in their hand.
This was not any random award function. This was organized by the top authority, so of course they surely have influential and reputable guests.
"Here comes the Kumars," someone announced.
Abhimanyu walked with the two beautiful ladies by his side.
In a black crisp Saint Laurent suit Abhimanyu was a sight to behold. His charisma was mesmerizing. He was drool worthy indeed.
On his right, in a red elegant floor length mermaid dress which showed her curves perfectly and a sparkling diamond necklace. Diya was dazzling. Gaining the title of Abhimanyu's girlfriend has paid her well.
Rudra Pratap Singh noticed the change in atmosphere. He looked up and his breath hitched.
Though fascinating the new couple in town were looking but he was captivated by the rather plain looking Aadya.
She didn't embellish herself like other women in the hall. She was rather looking much more plain and ordinary compared to them.
Making her look like a naive little girl. But she was anything but naive, still she will grab the spotlight, Rudra smiled knowingly.
The other gentlemen around Rudra were astounded by his smile. They were not familiar with the smile of Rudra or any one of the Triumvirate's.
Rudra pitied Digvijay and Vikram that they are not here to captivate this side of her.
Abhimanyu greeted every well known guest and influential people with the two ladies by his side.
Aadya slightly nodded and greeted the people with a warm smile, showing mannerism and elegance. People were impressed by her mannerism. It was visible that she is a perfect woman, a perfect lady.
She exhibited a special aura around her. She looked so delicate and fragile but deep down she kept her unbending pride and self esteem.
She concealed herself very well.
It was the time to start the Award ceremony.
All the guests settled themselves at their respective tables.
As Aadya took her place, she felt someone's gaze on her. She looked to her left.
Rudra was not able to get enough of her. He took small glances of her every now and then. He didn't have the slightest idea what the gentlemen on his table were discussing about.
"Right Rudra?" one of his business partners and friend Simon said.
"Yeah," he nodded, though he didn't know what they were talking about.
He once again glanced at her to discern, what is in her that now she is even coming to his dreams, invading his mind.
He saw the moles adorning her shoulder, her neck, her ears like the shining stars in the dark sky.
He must have gazed at her too long, scrutinizing her beauty marks as feeling his stare she glanced towards him.
Rudra quickly glanced away as Aadya's eyes turned to him. A red tint spread on the edge of his ears.
However it was a little late as Aadya already caught him staring at her.
She ignored it but once again looked at him. She didn't want to admit it but, Gosh... He was looking breathtaking.
In a lavish black suit with a white shirt underneath, he was looking more than just breathtaking.
His midnight black hair was swept back perfectly. A light stubble on his face was giving him a reflection of Adonis.
Her tender feelings fluttered for the known yet unknown man.
Maybe his heart was not in his control as he again looked towards her.
However this time she was already looking at him. Their eyes cluttered and the world turned silent around them.
It was only him and her.
"His eyes are beautiful. All three of them have pretty eyes, even prettier than mine. I can stare at those eyes forever," Her subconscious sighed.
"I want to kiss his eyelashes," her subconscious again said dreamily.
Rudra enjoyed her attention on him, amused by the little vixen.
He winked at her, breaking the spell Aadya was in. She simply glanced away, focusing her gaze on the floor.
She has to do some meditation to ignore these random thoughts, she thought.
The gentlemen sitting with Rudra Pratap were very well entertained by this little exchange between the two.
Aadya again glanced towards them, Rahul, another businessman who was sitting next to Rudra blew a flying kiss to her. While Simon raised a glass of champagne slightly nodding at her. It's their little game to get ladies attention.
Aadya again turned her gaze to the floor, like it's the most interesting thing. The men find it insulting. Women blush, giggle, flirt back, some even make a disgusted face at them, they laugh among themselves at their reaction. But here this girl completely ignored them, as if they don't even deserve a single second of her.
Like she is some Queen and they are her peasants. Rudra shook his head at their reaction.
They are not worth her time, he thought.
As the award ceremony started, a young man in his twenties won the "Young Entrepreneur Award". Everybody clapped for him. He was none other than the second heir of Rajawat group, Aditya Rajawat.
Before walking towards the stage he went to Rudra and hugged him like a brother. The spectators were in awe of them. They surely share a beautiful relationship.
Rudra had a prideful glint in his eyes. This young man has come a long way.
The time for the most awaited Award "Best Businessman of the year" has finally come. Everyone was convinced that Rudra Pratap Singh would win this Award. It is Triumvirate's unbroken record to take this award home every year.
But the result left everyone flabbergasted.
"This year's Best Businessman Award goes to.... Mr. Abhimanyu Kumar," The announcer announced.
Abhimanyu walked with pride like a king to get the award. Aadya and diya clapped for Abhimanyu, both the ladies enduring a beautiful smile on their faces.
Rudra, who was the most deserving candidate for the award, sat in his place unfazed.
Abhimanyu sent an arrogant smirk to Rudra and a loving smile to Aadya. Both didn't get unnoticed by the audience.
On receiving the Award, Abhimanyu said,
"This is a huge honour for me to receive this award which I accept with great humility and pride. I would like to thank each and every employee of my company. They are like my other family. I would also like to thank my rivals for always putting me down, it gave me the reason to rise above you," the last sentence he said intently glaring at Rudra. Aadya looked towards Rudra, he was aloof.
"When I was a kid my mother used to tell me about soul mates, the strings of your heart are connected with the strings of your soul mate's hearts. All the people sitting here are wealthy, coming from reputable families. All of you are lucky. But I am luckier than you all. Because I have already found my soulmate. My soulmate, my friend, my sister, my person, my Aadya...You don't even have the slightest idea how much I love you, how much I adore you, how proud I am of you. I am standing on this stage receiving this award only because of you.
Ladies and gentlemen this moment is much bigger than me. This moment is for, the lady who always stand beside me, the fearless, the kind hearted, the marvelous woman..Aadya my soul mate," Abhi's voice cracked as he got emotional, seeing the unshed tears in Aadya's eyes.
The audience were awestruck seeing this side of Abhimanyu. They have never seen him being emotional. Aadya watched him with a smile, eyes full of happy tears and someone was watching her admiring her blissful smile.
The award ceremony was a success. A little press conference was held for the winners. Abhimanyu has to attend this media interaction as he was the star of the show, after grabbing the most popular award of the evening.
As Aadya and Diya were alone, the gentlemen whose egos were hurted by Aadya's ignorance approached the two ladies.
A group of young good looking gentlemen, a glass of champagne in their hand. All of them come from wealthy families and all are successful entrepreneurs themselves.
One stood from the group and he was none other than Rudra Pratap Singh.
Rudra also approached the two ladies with the other gentlemen as he didn't want to miss the drama..
Walking towards them Simon's eyes scanned Aadya's figure. Standing next to Diya she was rather plain looking in a Versace grey gown and without even a simple accessory adorning her neck, she was pretty, yes, but just a skin and bones for his taste.
"What an ugly looking girl? Wonder why Abhimanyu adores her so much" the words were bitter, spitting out of anger and ignorance.
On hearing Simon's comment, Rudra's jaw clenched, he felt like someone had insulted him.
"Ugly and Aadya are antonyms of each other," Rudra muttered the words harshly.
Rahul who was walking beside him frowned at his words. Why is he affected this much? He wondered.
Diya was on cloud nine as she saw the handsome gentlemen coming their way.
"Oh my god Aadya, look they are coming here" She excitedly whispered to Aadya.
Aadya creased her brows, she is getting this excited by looking at other men, aren't she dating my brother? She thought to herself.
The men possess their own charm, attention follows them wherever they go. The attention of people was focusing on them.
"My pretty lady, may I introduce myself," said Rahul extending his hand towards Diya.
Diya's face beamed with a bright smile, she was overwhelmed. She didn't notice the judgemental looks she was getting from onlookers.
Each gentleman introduced themselves and started joking and flirting with Diya.
They showered Diya with great compliments, totally ignoring Aadya to embarrass her. Aadya moved away slightly and watched them.
She wished Abhimanyu to come as soon as possible and witness this scene, he will know how much Diya loves him.
Rudra didn't join the other men who were embarrassing Aadya. He was standing on the side and just gawking at her. The dream of that night played in his mind like an old movie. He again lost himself in fantasizing about her.
Feeling his stare on her, Aadya looked towards him and glared at him.
"Stop staring at me like that," her eyes state the message clearly.
"You stop staring at me," he mouthed the words. Her eyes zeroed at his lips.
"You are the one staring at me, so stop staring or I shall pluck your eyeballs," she mouthed as she glared at him as she felt his gaze grow more and more intense.
Rudra simply responded with his charming smile, making her blush red with a racing heart.
Diya being a possessive woman, wanted Rudra's attention on her as well. She knows he is the Alpha male here..
"Mr. Pratap, don't you think I look gorgeous ?"
Rudra ignored her as he took a small sip of his champagne still gawking at Aadya. He likes the blush on her skin.
Diya's face turned crimson in embarrassment and why not she was just ignored by one of the Triumvirate and that in front of public eyes.
Truth to be told even if Aadya would not be here to distract him, he would have still ignored her. He was brought up in a patriarchal family. A woman begging for attention is a filth in his eyes. And he treats them like that only. A woman who is not honest with their partners.
"She asked you something," Aadya said to him.
"I don't care. I am not interested in her. I am interested in you," he said openly accepting the fact.
His eyes moved to her chest and he said,"Though you are flat chested."
Aadya's face turned hot, fresh tears coming in her eyes. Her insecurities are unveiled in front of everyone.
Rudra saw the expression on her face, one part of him happy that he broke the fake mask of her confidence and conviction.
But the other part of him cursed him for being a jerk to her.
The women witnessing the scene were trying hard to control their mocking laugh and the men's eyes were glancing at her chest.
He had humiliated her without any reason that too in front of public eyes. She will not turn mute and let him play the game on his own terms.
She looked at her small yet firm breast, and then looked at him. Her every move, looked over by the spectators.
She smiled at him and gently said, "Having a small breast isn't the end of the world, but having a big dumb brain is very unfortunate."
Her gaze moved to his head, looking intently.
The whole room burst out in laughter. Rudra's gaze sharpened on her, his jaw clenched in anger. But all his anger turned cold when Aadya swiped her tongue over her lips, hiding the mischievous smile on her face.
He cursed under his breath at the effect she had on him. He was getting excited just by looking at her.
Simon laughed hard and said,"Rudra, did she just call you brainless?". The whole room again filled with laughter. He glanced around the room at one look and the laughter died as the room turned into pin drop silence.
"You are one cheeky woman," he smirked at Aadya, his thick finger slightly brushing her bottom lips. The small touch stunned Aadya and she took her steps back.
People were shocked, they were accepting him to insult and tore her self-esteem. But he just shook his head at her with a smile.
Before going out from the function Rudra leaned to her ear and whispered a small promise,"You are ours."
Aadya shivered, feeling his hot breath on her skin.
He went out of the hall not before winking at her.
Aadya stood there in the middle of the hall, confused.
"Ours ?"
....
Vikram's sports car slowly slid into the courtyard of the Rajawat mansion.
Jairaj Rajawat looked at his son up and down for a while, finally he spoke.
"Do you always need an invitation to visit your parents?"
"It's my home dad. I don't need an invitation to come here. But when I know, the only thing mum would speak about my marriage then I have to think twice about coming here."
Jairaj nodded in understanding as he had been in Vikram's place in the past.
The men coming from reputable and wealthy families got everything. Money, looks, power, women but they have to pay a big price for all this.
They have to sacrifice, the right to choose, the right to love, the right to look weak. There's no other option. At last they have to get hitched with the girl chosen by their family. Fortunately for him the woman he married was the love of his life.
Vikram knew what this dinner was about still he asked. Hoping to get some other answer.
"Dad, what's today's dinner about?"
"Why don't you find out for yourself," his father replied.
He kept quiet. His mother has recently started setting up blind dates for him. To find a suitable bride. That's how he met Anne Hayat. She was his mother's friend's daughter. That makes her the most desirable bride for Vikram. That's what Vikram's mother thinks.
It was a headache for Vikram. Anne thought of herself as Vikram's fiance, as she followed him all day.
It was way out of line.
After the mall incident he thought he got rid of her. But apparently his mother had a different thought.
"Why are you and mom not attending the Award ceremony? Aditya is also nominated," he asked his father, furrowing his brows.
"Your mother knows your schedule. You are not working, so she has set up the dinner tonight."
"And what about Aditya being there alone? He has one to support him tonight," he inquired.
It has always been like this. His parents more specifically his Mom has always given priority to her elder son as he was her first born. It's not like she loved her younger son any less. But there are times like this, where anyone can see whom she adores the most.
It wasn't the hidden fact that she didn't want another child after Vikram. But it was her love for Jairaj that she gave birth to another child. She saw the way his eyes lit up when he spoke about the unborn child.
"We will surely organise a party to celebrate your brother's success Vikram," his mother said walking towards them with a dominating tigress like gait.
"I should have ditched this dinner and attended the award ceremony to support my brother," Vikram muttered under his breath.
"I heard you," his mother rolled her eyes at him.
"Go wash your hands and have dinner quickly. You look so thin...Aditya must be coming." Vikram only gave her a nod in return.
When he came back he found Aditya had come back from the award ceremony. He went to him and patted his brother's back."Congratulations, little brother," he said with pride.
"Oh shut up Vikram stop calling me that," Aditya groaned in frustration.
He didn't like the nickname "Little brother". It was obvious.
Vikram shook his head at his brother and sat beside him at the dining table.
"How was the Award function? " he asked. "Same like all other award functions. But it sure has much needed drama," said Aditya with a smirk.
"What drama?" Vikram arched his brows as Aunt Sara, their maid, served him the dinner.
"Well The Triumvirate's unbroken record to win the best businessman award every year has been broken now," Aditya said like a reporter reporting a news headline.
"And guess who won it ?" Aditya further asked, wiggling his eyebrows to his big brother.
Vikram pursed his lips at his little brother and said flatly"Abhimanyu." His eyes were empty, not a single emotion.
"First he won the bid for the island and now this prestigious award. He is getting everything that you are aiming for Vicky," his mother said looking dead in his eyes.
"This Award was nothing special to us mum and about the island. He can't afford to spend that much high amount on a single bid. We are sure that the Irish had helped him," Vikram said nonchalantly. His full attention was on the sweets kept on his plate. His mum makes the best sweets.
"Irish Mafia ?" Jairaj spoke, his eyes turning sharp at the mention of Irish.
"Yes... Abhimanyu went to Ireland last year. We are sure that he met Rebecca Walsh there. The Mafia Queen of Irish Mafia. She must have helped him financially as she hates The Triumvirate. She will do anything to defeat us," Vikram answered back, meeting his father's sharp eyes. His own eyes turned hard.
"An enemy's enemy is a friend," Aditya pronounced.
"Now stop talking about Mafia and stuff," Lavanya said, shaking her head. It's not the topic she was comfortable discussing. All three men turned their eyes towards her, all of them could see her uncomfortableness.
"Sorry," all three of them mumbled together. Lavanya just nodded and changed the topic.
"What do you think about Anne? Isn't she lovely?" She asked Vikram with raised brows. Expectations rising in her deep eyes.
Vikram sighed heavily. His mother was adamant to make Anne Hayat his wife.
"Mother, she is anything but lovely. She is just a spoiled brat like other girls coming from a wealthy family. I don't think she is suitable for being a wife," Vikram plainly explained to his mum. He really was not into Anne.
Holding her hand in public, even in private, was his biggest mistake. He should not have entertained a girl like her even a bit. He was regretting spending a night with her now.
"Maybe a girlfriend or a mistress, yes, but not a wife," he said, nonchalantly.
"Vikram," his mother's voice boomed in the dining room.
"Don't speak about her like that. She is going to be your wife. Not a filthy mistress," Lavanya said with finality. Her nose flaring in breezy anger. She was not at all happy with her son's words.
"Pardon me," Vikram exclaimed slightly, not believing the words coming out of his mother's mouth.
Going to be my wife?
"Did I hear it right.. My wife?" he asked his father and Aditya.
"Yes Vikram, Mom said Anne is going to be your wife" Aditya said, controlling himself from bursting into laughter.
It was too much drama for a day for him. First in the Award function he got to see the drama between Rudra and Aadya. And now at home, a family drama.
"Sorry mum but I ain't marrying Anne the bitch," Vikram said and finally Aditya let out a big laugh, now not being able to control himself.
Jairaj Rajawat was watching the drama with a poker face. He had presumed that this would be the scene at the dining table tonight.
"You are marrying her, Vikram and that is final. She has everything that needs to be a Rajawat bride," Lavanya said, she was very confident about her decision.
"Haven't you watched her viral video mother? She was a bitch, she didn't think twice about that she was in public and acted egregious," he confronted his mother.
"And she apologized publicly for her behavior. She comes from a rich background Vikram. Of course she will fight for the things she likes. It's a good quality that she is not a quitter. Right?" Lavanya said as she took a sip of a white wine.
It was true, the viral video had damaged the reputation of Hayat as well as the Rajawat family. Anne had to release a public apology in the press. She is visiting cancer patients and donating money.
It's a heartily gesture or a way of amending reputation.. Everybody knew.
It's unbelievable.. How can she defend that good for nothing girl, Vikram thought.
"I am sorry mum. Even if she is a perfect girl out there. I will not marry her. And that's final," Vikram said, looking straight into her eyes as if challenging her.
"May I ask why son?" This time it was Jairaj who asked his son. Deep in his heart, he knew the answer already. He just wanted his son to accept the truth openly.
Vikram looked at his father. Getting a clear message.. He only wants the truth, so he will give them the truth.
He looked at his mother then at his brother who was trying very hard to control his urge to scoff at the scene unfolding in front of him.
Finally Vikram's eyes met his father's sharp gaze and he pronounced with pride.
"I will share my bride with Digvijay and Rudra. We will marry the same woman," he said, dropping the bomb at his family members. It was the oath they had taken years ago; they are not going to change it now for anything.
Aditya choked on his drink and coughed, he looked at Vikram as if he was seeing an alien.
Lavanya's eyes widened. Her lips curled in disgust. Jairaj was impassive as he had accepted this answer.
"WHAT!" Lavanya screeched.
All the three men winced at her screechy tone.
"What the fuck brother. I thought you would accept the fact that you are gay or something. You know, coming out of the closet. But this is some weird shit. It's gross. How can you share your wife?. A WIFE!" Aditya was disgusted by the mere idea of sharing one woman.
Before Vikram could fire back a reply to his brother his mother interrupted him.
"Have you lost your mind Vikram?. Sharing a bride? Please tell me if it's some kind of joke or a lame excuse to avoid the topic of marriage," Lavanya asked, there was nothing but a look of disgust surfacing in her deep eyes.
Is he out of his mind? Sharing a bride? It's irrational, it's disgusting. I should have never let them become friends. I knew it would destroy everything, Lavanya thought.
"No mother, I am being genuine here. It's not my excuse," he said blankly. He was not ashamed of something that was decided long ago by them.
"It's our decision, we don't need your consent to take our life's decision. So keep your opinion to yourself," Vikram spat the words on his brother.
"It ain't gonna happen. No decent girl will do it," Aditya said, shaking his head.
"Tut tut...You are saying no decent girl will do it," he laughed loudly.
"Brother every girl wants to be the wife of Triumvirate," and I already have a perfect girl in my mind.
"Don't forget Vikram. I am also here!" Lavanya sneered at her shameless son.
"I apologize Mother," Vikram's face hardened and he apologized looking down.
"And this is never going to happen. I let you share your happiness, your time, your victory, your power, everything with those two. But sharing your wife never. Why are you not understanding you don't need them? You can dominate the whole world, you can rule the world alone. You don't need Rudra and Digvijay by your side," Lavanya exploded. Her calm demeanor changed in minutes.
Vikram was shocked by her words.
On the other hand, Jairaj was not surprised by Lavanya's words.
She had always wanted Vikram to be on the top, not him sharing the spot. It's not like she hates Rudra or Digvijay, it's just like she loves Vikram the most and wants the best thing only for him.
Jairaj was glad that now everything was transparent.
"Let me rephrase, We The Triumvirate will marry one girl. Only she will be our wife and that too if we find the right girl and we all fall for her. Otherwise I am happy with the way I am living."
"Yes, A Polyandry,"Vikram declared.
As soon as he said these words, Lavanya slapped him right on his face.
The sound of slap echoed in the dining room.
"GET OUT," Lavanya yelled, pointing a sharp manicure towards the door.
Vikram simply nodded and got up from his place.
"I again apologize, mum," he whispered before placing a kiss on her cheek and without saying anything he left The Rajawat mansion.
Aditya followed him.
"What just happened?" Aditya asked, stunned.
"You saw what happened little brother," Vikram said simply entering into his sports car.
"And why are you following me?" he asked, irritated by his little brother.
Aditya made himself comfortable in the passenger seat of Vikram's sports car. "I want some answers from you. No not only you but from Rudra and Digvijay as well," he said with a tight lipped smile as Vikram started the car.
"You are not getting any answer, little brother," Vikram said, glancing his way.
"This is the last time I am telling you Vikram, stop calling me little brother and I will get all the answers," Aditya was irritated now.
"Try your best...little brother," Vikram again mocked his brother.
Aditya's fist clenched, ready for a fight. He glared at his brother icily. Vikram enjoyed Aditya's reaction. He was amused.
"Well I will ask Rudra first why the hell he insulted Aadya in front of everyone," after sometimes Aditya said looking ahead at the road.
"What? What are you talking about?"Vikram asked his brother, frowning.
"Rudra said he is interested in her. Though she is flat chested. After that everyone was glancing at her chest. It was very humiliating," Aditya shook his head, feeling bad for Aadya.
"Was she crying ?" there was a hint of concern in Vikram's voice as he asked.
"No, it was actually the opposite. She insulted him back. She said I quote,'having small breasts isn't the end of the world but having a big dumb brain is completely helpless,' she said it, staring at his head intently. It was entertaining as hell to look at their conversation brother. It was fun," Aditya chuckled, remembering the look of Rudra's face. The man was gone.
"That's my girl," Vikram proudly said, his face lighted up with a smile.
"What did you just say?" Aditya asked, looking at Vikram wide eyed.
"Nothing," Vikram simply said.
"You did say something like "my girl" Aditya pointed out.
"No Aditya I didn't.. Just drop it," Vikram said with finality.
My cheeky little fox..not scared of anything, Vikram thought.
"She is so mature and beautiful. A true beauty. I would love to meet her personally and maybe steal a slow dance with her to a lovely song," Aditya mused, breaking Vikram's chain of thoughts.
"It ain't gonna happen, so stop thinking about it," Vikram snapped, not even liking to imagine Aadya with Aditya.
Fuck he have to kill his own brother if that happens.
"You never know," Aditya said as they reached the Triumvirate Estate.
"No Aditya. Just shut it. You and Aadya can never happen. Never," Vikram gritted out, his eyes darkening like the night shade as he came out of the car.
Aditya just clicked his tongue not seeing the darkness grasping his big brother's face.
"Alright I get you bro. Now let's discuss this polyandry shit that you guys are planning," Aditya said as he entered the Triumvirate estate.
Aadya's Pov
It's been two days since the award function. Still I can feel his hot breath on my neck.
"You are ours," he whispered in my ears.
What does he mean.. Ours?
The men sure are some weird creatures.. God bless them with some brain cells.. So that they can speak clearly, not in a damn riddle.
God bless Rudra with some manners as well. He surely lacks that.
"Still you are thinking about him," my subconscious spoke.
"I so want to kill you," I fired back to my subconscious. She is annoying me now.
"Go ahead, do it. You will kill yourself," my subconscious mocked.
"I know that's what's stopping me," I puffed.
"Poor Aadya," my subconscious mocked me again.
"Hoe," I rolled my eyes at my subconscious.
"You," she fired back.
I have to do meditation now, otherwise I will turn into a psycho.
But she is right, he insulted me that too publicly. Still I am thinking about the feeling I got when we were staring at each other's eyes. His brown eyes were doing some kind of magic on me. Not only his but all three of them.
Whenever I look at them I feel my stomach churning in a weird way. I have not felt like this before for anyone however now I am having these feelings for three different men.
I am hating to admit it but I do feel a weird kind of pull towards them. It is so wrong to feel like this for three different men. If I share my feelings with someone they will call me shameless but what can I do ?
I don't mind fighting with them. I don't mind at all when they stare at me for long minutes.
If there was someone else who had called me a flat chested woman I would have burst out crying but in front of Rudra.. In front of him I felt like taunting him, teasing him, making fun of him because somewhere deep down in my heart I knew he was not going to hurt me.
I don't know why I don't feel any uneasiness around them.
There was a new kind of comfort that I felt around them. A new kind of challenge, a new kind of feeling.
It feels like spending a minute with them is nothing but a daring adventure.
The new feelings burning in my chest was making me cry..it was so overwhelming.
It is wrong to feel a timid yet still growing affection for three different men.
The three different about whom I don't know anything more than their name.
My chain of thoughts broke by the sound of the doorbell.
Maybe it is Abhimanyu. He was spending some quality time with Diya. He was angry with her, when he got to know that she was flirting with other men in his absence.
Thank god he didn't know about the little incident between me and Rudra. He would have done something irrational out of rage.
As I opened the door, I was expecting Abhimanyu to be there on the other side.
But seeing the people standing in front me, my face turned pale. I can feel my heartbeat racing. I am getting goosebumps. I am scared.
Why are they here?
